Welcome to Inverell Minor League Hawks
Our club provides a fun, safe and exciting team enviroment to learn all the skills to play junior rugby league. Boys from 5 to 16 can play and girls up to the age of 12 will have fun while getting fit and learning the game. We also have League Tag for girls in 3 age groups (8's, 9's, 10's) and (11's, 12's, 13's) and (14's, 15's, 16's). There are also opportunities for kids over the age of 14 to become league safe personnel, first aid officers, referees and linesmen. This only enhances their ongoing development as they get older by broadening their understanding of the game.
Our club is also committed to the ongoing development of our coaches, and the NRL development officer runs mentor clinics for the coaches to continually upgrade their skills to enable them to train and coach the kids to the best of their ability and the highest level possible.
170 kids play in our club. With age groups being Under 6's, Under 8's, Junior League Tag (8's, 9's, 10's) girls only, Under 10's, Intermediate League Tag (11's, 12's, 13's) girls only, Under 12's, Senior League Tag (14's, 15's, 16's) girls only, Under 14's and Under 16's. We have a very enthusiastic and dedicated committee, made up of people from all walks of life that are very excited about the future of junior rugby league in our town. We also have some great long term sponsors who are very committed and very generous and lots of smaller sponsors and helpers who are so invaluable and contribute so much to help with the running of our club, for the benefit of the kids.
With a proud tradition of more than 50 years of junior rugby league in town, Inverell Minor League Hawks are committed to moving forward both on and off the field, and supporting country kids through playing junior rugby league.
